"Le logement est très bien situé, dans une rue à la fois calme et centrale. Il a été rénové récemment et est très bien équipé. Coup de cœur pour la petite terrasse et sa vue sur Aix ! Charles a été très réactif tout au long du séjour et les check-in & check-out se sont bien passés. Nous ne pouvons que recommander."

"Comme mentionné dans d’autres commentaires, le logement est au 5ème sans ascenseur et donc inadapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Cela n’a pas été problématique dans notre cas."

"The apartment is well designed and stylish with good quality fixtures and fittings. Great bathroom with spacious shower. The outdoor space is lovely with fantastic rooftop views. Very effective air conditioning in the living room and quiet fans in the bedrooms. Its location in the old town is perfect - easy access to everything! Highly responsive communication with the owner Charles and other staff."

"There are a lot of stairs to get up to the department and quite a few within it. However it’s worth the effort when you get there! Those with reduced mobility might find it challenging."

"Communication with the owner before and during our stay was really efficient. His easy style of writing emails almost made it seem as though we were visiting a friend, or were returning guests. Very good! The location (just off the Cours Mirabeau, the principal street in the historic centre of Aix, was excellent. The decor of the apartment was stylish and clever use of lighting brightened what might have otherwise been a rather dark interior. All electrical appliances were modern and added to the comfort of the apartment. The beds were also very comfortable. The stylish bathroom was both bright and hygienic (excellent water pressure for refreshing showers). I can’t leave out the charming roof terrace- small but very pleasant."

"As we expected , there were many stairs to contend with both inside and leading up to the apartment. We are both fairly fit women in our seventies, so we managed quite well, but people with mobility problems would be likely to struggle. The ceiling in one of the bedrooms had a significant slope. Fans were provided but there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms, so at times they were stuffy."

"Clean and spacious. Good air conditioning in living space (not bedrooms - fans only). Great view of rooftops on outdoor balcony but we had very hot weather and so was too hot to sit up there unless early morning or late evening. In a great position right in heart of the old town. If you have any issues walking up and down stairs definitely not one for you as steep stairs up to the apartment and steep spiral Stairs down to one of the bedrooms and the bathroom laundry. We didn’t mind as we are both fit and fairly healthy. Was great to chill and watch some Netflix as no offence but if you don’t speak French, French tv is very boring!!!!"

"Het dakterras met uitzicht over de daken van Aix! De luxe afwerking in het appartement zelf. Alles was aanwezig, en knap bedacht. De locatie in hartje Aix geweldig!"

"De immens lange trappen op naar boven om het appartement te bereiken – vooral als het licht halverwege ook nog eens uitvalt en je in de complete duisternis staat met al je bagage! Door de vele op- en afstapjes, wenteltrap, nauwe toilet en het buitenraam waardoor we naar buiten moesten voor het dakterras hebben we nog drie dagen krom gelopen uit angst ons hoofd te stoten :-). Alles bij elkaar toch wat claustrofobisch enne.... prijzig!"

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem einzigartigen Apartment. Im Vorhinein sind über eine sichere Finanzapp 500€ zu hinterlegen, die als Kaution gesperrt, aber nicht abgebucht werden. Charles wird das genau erklären. Die Lage ist großartig, mitten in der Altstadt umgeben von Shops, Restaurants und den Märkten, wo frisches Gemüse, Obst, Käse, Wurst, Fisch und alles was das Herz begehrt gekauft werden können. Die Anreise erfolgte unkompliziert, Abreise noch unkomplizierter. Die Wohnung ist im 5. Stock ohne Lift und auch im Apartment sind Treppen, also nicht für kleine Kinder oder ältere/gehbehinderte Menschen geeignet."

"This was the absolute highlight of our stay in Aix. The flat is well-designed and comfortable. Great a/c in the living room only. Bathroom and laundry are terrific. The location cannot be beat. We spent every night on the rooftop deck, looking out over Aix, listening to the church bells and reviewing the day."

"One does not enjoy a rooftop deck from the first floor, so you have to be prepared for climbing 5 flights of steep and winding stairs. With that said, if I, a 72-year old on a cane, can do it, you can too. I am so glad we did not discount this property but only wish we could have hired someone to help with our luggage."
